Editorial Policy

The editorial standard is usefulness first.

Recommendations should be useful, commercially real, and clear about how they were put together.

What guides recommendations

Recommendations focus on tools that appear worth considering for a specific work problem. Affiliate compensation can exist, but it does not guarantee positive coverage or immunity from criticism.

Pages should make direct judgments only where the evidence is strong enough to support them.

How updates work

Products change. Recommendations can change with them. Pages should be updated, tightened, or removed as the underlying product and category context shift.
